About Coronavirus Disease
The new strain of coronavirus, COVID-19, was first reported in Wuhan, China in December 2019. The virus has since spread to all continents (except Antarctica).
Coronaviruses are a family of viruses that can cause respiratory illness in humans. They get their name, “corona,” from the many crown-like spikes on the surface of the virus. Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS) and the common cold are examples of coronaviruses that cause illness in humans.
Person to person contact diseases:
Strep, flu, covid 19, cough, cold, STI/STD, skin diseases like scabies, fungal infection etc
Protecting family members by spreading less contact, being diligent about social distancing, avoiding sharing or not drinking after sick person in the family.
Mindful of neighbors and friends of their symptoms before involving in group chats or gatherings.
Cover your cough on an elbow sleeves to prevent spread of infections.
Wash your hands after every possible contact, before you eat and after shaking hands or touching surfaces. Sanitize hands regularly when washing hand is not possible at the moment.
Staying home when symptomatic and getting Covid/flu test when appropriate.
